Gay pride or LGBTQ+ pride is the promotion of the self-affirmation, dignity, equality, and increased visibility of lesbian, gay, bisexual, and transgender (LGBTQ+) people as a social group.

Pride is for members of the LGBTQ+ Community and it's allies of ANY age, not just adults! Pride is here for that 14 year old boy being bullied at school because he is brave enough to know and embrace who he is! Pride is for that 8 year old child that identifies as a gender other than the one they were assigned at birth. Pride is for that 56 year old woman who, after a lifetime of doing the "proper thing" decided the proper thing for her was to finally live as her true self!

PRIDE IS FOR FAMILY! Both the Family you're born with that supports you and the Family you choose when the one you're born with doesn't!

 

With all that being said Mohave Pride is now, and will always be a FAMILY FRIENDLY EVENT! NO EXCEPTIONS!

We understand the need and the desire for the Adult stuff which is why Mohave Pride will ALWAYS include an Adult ONLY after party (not an adult zone at the event, but a separate event to let your freak flag fly).
